Residential : Oak Extension to Listed Building

The extension of this 15th century, listed building was carried out to compliment the existing cottage whilst providing a stunning, new addition to the house. Major excavation and underpinning of the existing cottage was carried out before constructing this brick built extension with an exposed oak, vaulted ceiling and oak windows and doors to the customer’s and architect’s specification. Two existing lead covered flat roofs were overhauled and decorative lead work installed. To finish the project, we constructed additional boundary walls and landscaped the area adjacent to the new addition.

The result is a stunning blend of old and new that compliments the surrounding properties and provides a beautiful space for our clients.
