This project was undertaken in partnership with Hampshire County Council as part of their cyclical redecoration and timber repair work to school buildings in the county. This school in Gosport was transformed from a rather drab brown stain and white gloss exterior, to a lively, stimulating environment for the children and adults that use the school.
We introduced colour to the building using Dulux opaque woodstains. This lifted the tired façade that now boasts an array of colours, which are enjoyed by both the children, staff members and parents alike. Decoration was not restricted to the main school building and encompassed all structures within the school grounds, including the traditionally built ‘Wendy House’. Even the entrance gates are now a welcoming sight with their brightly coloured mural.
“I write to highly commend the work that your firm has carried out at our school. The external decoration of the school has been achieved to a high standard and has given the school an excellent face-lift, which has been greatly appreciated by staff and children and positively noted by parents and governors.”
